Free University of Brussels
Master's Programme in Human Ecology
The content of the educational programme follows an international precedent in offering a
multidisciplinary array of courses leading to a broad, holistic view of the relationships between humans,
their societies and the environment. In general terms, the final objective is to develop an understanding of
the ecology of mankind and the complexity of the environment in which he lives and of which he forms
an integral part, and to stimulate thinking about new ways to tackle environmental problems.
